A working prototype of Waterdeep's Ex deputy commander of the city watch, who is a brilliant artificer. He left waterdeep for reasons only known to the higher ups of the Waterdeep hierarchy and is currently wanted by them.
On the necklace there is a large pocketwatch like pendant. Within the pendant there are cogs carved out of manacrystals, they are a part of a delicate mechanism that can store a single spell for later use.
The connecting cogs act like separate memories connected together, this system enables the simple storing and upkeep of the spell for precisely 1 day without diminishing it's effects.
Spell storing.
When you successfully cast a spell, you can choose to store it within the pendant for 24 hours. The spell has no effect, other than to be stored in the pendant.Spell unleashing.
As an action, you activate the pendant, causing the stored spell to manifest. If the spell requires targets or an area, you choose them when the spell is unleashed. If the spell requires concentration, you must concentrate on it normally. The spell uses the spell save DC, spell attack bonus, and spellcasting ability modifier of the creature that stored it. The pendant can not be used this way again, untill a new spell is stored within it.
