Za każdą minutę, przez którą butelka pozostaje otwarta, rozmiar emanacji zwiększa się o 3 metry, aż osiągnie maksymalny promień 36 metrów. Zamknięcie butelki sprawia, że chmura pozostaje nieruchoma, aż rozproszy się po 10 minutach. Silny wiatr, taki jak wywołany zaklęciem Gust of Wind, rozprasza chmurę po 1 minucie.
