Acidic Blood. Each time the marrow stalker is damaged, each creature within 5 ft of it takes 5 (2d4) acid damage.

Aggressive Pounce. If the marrow stalker moves at least 20 feet in a straight line before successfully making an attack, it can choose to push a medium or small target to any adjacent unoccupied space.

Blood Thirsty. Each time the marrow stalker is damaged, it gains a +1 bonus to its attack and damage rolls (max +5). This bonus resets once it has taken a short or long rest.

Bristled Hide. Each time a creature damages the marrow stalker with a melee attack it takes 2 (1d4) piercing damage plus 2 (1d4) acid damage.

Actions

Multiattack. The marrow stalker can use its howl of fury. It then makes 3 attacks : one with its violent gash and two with its claws. If a creature is prone, it can make a stomp attack as a bonus action.

Claw. Melee weapon attack : +7 to hit, reach 5 ft. one target. Hit : 11 (2d6+4) slashing damage.

Violent Gash. Melee weapon attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft, one target. Hit 13 (2d8+4) piercing damage plus 7 (2d6) acid damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 14 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone and become bloodied. A bloodied creature takes an extra die of damage from each attack until it heals ( does not stack)

Howl of Fury. The marrow stalker releases a deep, echoing howl. All creatures within 30ft of it that can hear it must make a DC 13 wisdom saving throw. On failure, a creature take 9 (2d8) thunder damage, half as much on a successful save, plus a -2 penalty to attack rolls until the end of their next turn ( does not stack)

Bonus Actions

(Only if a target is prone) Stomp. Melee weapon attack: + 7 to hit, reach 5 ft. one target. Hit 7 (1d6+4) piercing damage. If the target is a medium or small creature, it is grappled (escape DC 14)

Reactions

Howl of the Alpha. The marrow stalker can force 1 beast or monstrosity withing 30 ft of it that is of a lower CR and can hear it to make a DC 12 Wisdom saving throw. This saving throw is made at disadvantage if the marrow stalker has damaged the target. If they fail, the marrow stalker can force it to take any action it wishes. A creature affected by this ability has disadvantage on attacks against the marrow stalker for the next hour.

Strength Through Wounding. When successfully damaged by an attack, the marrow stalker instead takes no damage and gains temporary hit points equal to half the total damage of the triggering attack.
