Special Maneuvers
Scrapshot - Fire up to 5lbs of junk objects loaded in the Lanza's catch. Each pound of junk adds 1d4 AP I Bludgeoning damage. The path affects a 60 by 5 foot line. Any targets caught in the path must make a Dexterity saving throw against a DC equal to 8 + your Proficiency Bonus + your Dexterity modifier. A target that succeeds on its saving throw only takes half damage. A target that fails its saving throw takes the rolled damage and is knocked prone.
Launch Device - Launch a single loaded object up to 60 feet to a point of your choosing. Grenades and similar objects with an area of effect inherit their original properties for that area of effect. The Sling Catch can be changed out for a larger sling catch to launch additional objects.

Special Properties
Junk Launcher - Up to 5 lbs of assorted objects can be launched by this weapon at a time. The mass is increased by changing out the strings in the pulley for strings with higher tension ratings.
Stealthy - Despite its whiny little motor's noise, it doesn't attract nearly as much attention as a firearm. Targets outside of 45 feet are not alerted to the user after firing. After attacking, roll a Stealth check versus the chosen target's Passive Perception.

Loading: Uses a Bonus Action to load a projectile. The motor can be changed out for removing the need to spend a Bonus Action to load the slingshot.

Jamming: This weapon does not jam

Handling: 1-Handed

The Lanza is a feat of micro-engineering using cannibalized remote control car parts. It's basically a motorized slingshot that can fire just about any junk that is thrown in it, as long as it's small enough. It's a funky DIY invention, borne of the weird and innovative minds of Chirals; it automatically starts spooling with its motor after firing, and can be ready to fire another payload within 1 second of firing. It is powered by a single two-stroke micro-motor that is started by an electric trigger, and the motor sounds like a tiny weed-wacker. The trigger mechanism is what starts the motor with a short delay. The motor itself operates the pulley mechanism that winds back the catch of the Lanza. A lot of the time, the Chiral Lanza will be used to launch explosives much further than a normal slingshot could.
