Special Maneuvers
Aimed Shot - Before moving on your turn, make an Attack roll with a +5 bonus to hit.
Detonate Placed Explosives - As a Bonus Action, detonate all placed Explosive Pucks at once. Each Explosive Puck deals 6d4 Thunder and 4d4 Fire damage in a 15 foot radius around itself. Otherwise, you can choose to instead detonate the puck in a 20 ft cone or a 45 by 5 foot line perpendicular to whatever surface it was attached to. All targets inside the explosion radii must make a Dexterity saving throw against a DC equal to 8 + your Proficiency Bonus + your Dexterity or Intelligence modifier (whichever is higher). On a failed save, a target takes the rolled damage and is pushed away from the explosion's source in a straight line, up to 30 feet away. On a successful save, a target only takes half the rolled damage.
Direct Fire - Make an Attack Roll instead of designating a point at a target within range. A direct hit with the puck will deal an additional 4d4 Bludgeoning damage to the target, ignoring armor. A target that has been directly hit will automatically fail their saving throw. If the attack misses, the explosive puck will travel to its effective range or stick to the next surface.
Disarm Explosive Puck - As a Bonus Action, send a signal to a placed explosive puck to disarm it for retrieval.
Indirect Fire - Designate an open space behind cover as long as there is not a roof in the path, as an Attack.
Minelayer - Deploy an Explosive Puck in a tripwire mine mode. Place a 45 foot, 5 foot wide line. Any targets that pass through will trigger the Explosive Puck's shaped charge, and will make a Dexterity saving throw against the Explosive DC with disadvantage. To deploy the Explosive Puck without alerting hostiles, make a Stealth check against their passive perception.
Special Properties
Adhesive Explosive - The explosive does not automatically detonate but will stick to whatever surface it is applied to.
Anti-Armor - Deals unmitigated damage to vehicle internals, vehicle paneling, and constructs.
Concussive - Deals double the rolled damage to Poise.
Demolition Tool - Can be used to break doors and walls.
Mining Equipment - Gives advantage on any checks to obtain materials from rocks.
Stealthy - Firing this weapon does not alert enemies that are outside of initiative or when you attack while hidden. After attacking, roll a Stealth check versus the target's Passive Perception. If you detonate the weapon, you will automatically fail any Stealth checks.
Loading: Uses a Bonus Action to reload 2 Pucks, uses an Action to reload all Pucks.
Jamming: This weapon does not jam.
Handling: 2-handed
The TC C-RDL-3, otherwise known as the Remote Detonator Launcher is a proximity-charge/remote charge type blasting tool that is often used as a shorter range, but more powerful grenade launcher, capable of carrying up to five plastic explosive 'pucks' in its magazine. The pucks themselves have a shaped charge with a quick acting multi-adhesive, instantly sticking them to whatever surface they are fired at and detonating when the user chooses. They also have a smart charge, which allows them to be directed in a controlled manner of the user's choice. These pucks are often used to set up traps when there's no other options for defense as a type of minelayer. The pucks are shot out of the weapon using a pneumatic compressor, giving it a somewhat satisfying 'bloop' sound when it fires. It was originally made as an excavation tool for gaining access to more difficult-to-reach ore.
