Maneuvers
Bludgeoning Swing - As an Attack, you swing the weapon's closed jaws at a target, dealing 4d10 AP II Bludgeoning damage. This deals double the damage to Poise.
Grab Target - As an Attack action, you attempt to restrain the target within reach by grappling them with this weapon.
Quickjaw - As an Attack action, you lunge at a chosen target within range, moving up to 15 feet as part of the lunge, using the weapon's open jaws and snap at them. On a successful attack, you deal 4d10 AP V Slashing damage.
Release Target - You may release the target as a Free Action. If the target falls 10 or more feet while prone, they take twice the Falling Damage.
Special Maneuvers
Bisecting Cut - While a target is restrained by the Cutting Grab maneuver, you may spend your Bonus Action and two charges to attempt to cut the target in half if they are bloodied. The target must be Medium or smaller. They must make a Constitution saving throw against the Hemorrhaging save DC or be cut in half, reducing them to 0 HP. Once you have used this maneuver, you may not use this maneuver again until after finishing a Short or Long rest.
Cutting Grab - As an Attack action, you attempt to grab and restrain a target in melee range with Advantage using this weapon. Add your Intelligence, Dexterity, or Strength Modifier to any Strength-based checks you make. As part of this attack, if the target is unarmored or has been cut by the Cutting grab maneuver previously, you may expend one charge to slice one of your target's limbs, dealing 6d10 AP V Slashing damage and Maiming that limb. If the target has a Shield, the shield is instead broken and cannot be used again until it is repaired. If the target is wearing armor, they take 4d10 AP V Bludgeoning damage, their Armor Grade is instead reduced by an amount equal to your Proficiency Bonus for the rest of combat. At the end of each of their turns, a target may make a contested Athletics or Acrobatics check to try and break free.
Special Properties
Armor Piercing V
Grapple Weapon - This device can grapple the bodies of medium and smaller targets, or limbs of huge and smaller targets. While a target is grappled, every 5 feet of movement costs 10. If you have a Powered Exoskeleton equipped, you may move freely.
Heavy
Maiming - This weapon has the potential to Maim the first target hit when rolling a critical success on an attack roll. Some of this weapon's maneuvers maim a target if they fail their save.
Passive Recharging - On finishing a Long rest, this weapon regains all of its charges. On finishing a Short rest, this weapon regains 2 charges.
Salvage Tool
Severe Hemorrhaging - Targets cut by this weapon's maneuvers must make a Constitution saving throw against a DC equal to 8 + Your Proficiency Bonus + your Strength, Dexterity, or Intelligence modifier, using whichever is highest. On a failed save, a target takes 2d10 Bleed damage.
Handling: 2-handed
The Tzarok wanted to outdo the ferocity of their rival tribes, so they designed the Death-Jaw Cutter (as it is translated to common). It is like a giant pneumatic bolt cutter but fast and lethal, with high torque for how quickly it moves. It is capable of bisecting a medium target. Some modifications also superheat the metal blades.
