Special Maneuvers
Aimed Shot - Fire one shot with +8 bonus to hit as an attack, can be used if the player has not moved yet on this turn.
Flashbulb - Switch the fire mode to expend an extra charge, dealing an additional 1d8 radiant damage and possibly blind the target for your next attack attack. The target must make a Constitution saving throw against a DC equal to 8 + Proficiency Bonus + Intelligence Modifier or be blinded until the start of your next turn.
High Powered Mode - Switch the fire mode as a Bonus Action to expend an extra laser charge per attack, dealing an additional 2d8 radiant damage. High Powered Mode can be deactivated as a Free Action. This weapon will overheat if three consecutive attacks are made in this mode, rendering the weapon unable to fire until after your next turn. Making a normal attack with this weapon will reset the counter.
Pulsed Incinerator Beam - Before moving on your turn, expend all of your movement and 3 of this weapon's charges as an Action to pulse the beam in a high-powered attack. This unleashes a 270ft long, 5ft wide beam of destructive directed energy, dealing 12d8 Radiant damage inside of its area of effect. All targets caught inside the beam must make a Dexterity saving throw against a DC equal to 8 + your Proficiency Bonus + your Intelligence Modifier. On a successful save, a target only takes half damage. On a failed save, a target takes the rolled damage and automatically starts Burning if it can be ignited. Against vehicles, this Action damages paneling, occupants, and internal parts inside its area of effect. After using this maneuver, you cannot fire the weapon until after your next turn as it activates an automated cooldown safety function. You may perform this maneuver once per Short or Long rest unless it is mounted to a vehicle turret.
Special Properties
Anti-Armor - Deals unmitigated damage to constructs, robotics, and vehicles.
Atmospheric Dispersal - The weapon loses 1 damage dice at ranges greater than its effective range.
Heavy
Incendiary - Targets struck with this weapon's attacks must make a Constitution saving throw against a DC equal to 8 + Your Proficiency Bonus + Intelligence Modifier or take 1d8 Fire damage at the start of each of their turns for 2 of their turns. Will ignite any flammable objects as well.
Laser Weaponry - Instantaneous attacks grant higher precision and accuracy, granting twice the Proficiency Bonus on attack rolls inside the weapon's effective range.
Rechargeable - Expended ammunition will recharge fully after finishing a Long Rest.
Vehicle-Compatible - This weapon is designed for usage with vehicles. While attached to a vehicle's turret, its effective range extends by 90 feet and its long range extends by 180 feet, and removes the once per rest usage limitation on the Pulsed Incinerator Beam maneuver.
Loading: Fast Reload as a Bonus Action to restore half the magazine's charges, otherwise perform a Full Reload as an action to restore all of the magazine's charges.
Jamming: On a critical failure, roll a 1D12, if it lands on a 1, the weapon is jammed and requires a bonus action (D&D5E) or an action point (PF2E) to clear the jam
Handling: 2-handed
Morgrim, not to be outdone by Armanov and Zarya, designed a high powered, portable laser cannon that can also be mounted on vehicles. It has the capability of dealing excessive amounts of damage in a single pulsed attack, burning holes right through vehicle armor, but has a short cooldown period during which it cannot be fired. The other mode creates a high powered, long-burn beam emitted from the weapon, which will heat the weapon up over time and then put it on a safety cooldown once it reaches its heat threshold, disallowing it from turning back on until its temperatures have safely dropped.
