Traits
Blood of the Pact. When the shaman first drops below half its hit points, it immediately gains 5 temporary HP and its melee attacks deal an extra 1d4 fire damage until the end of its next turn. Channel of the Casket of Endless Hunger (1/Rest). As an action, the shaman may cut its palm and feed its lifeblood to the demonic chest. It loses 10 HP and either heals the Casket of Endless Hunger for 10 or triggers an extra demonic pulse at initiative 20 this round.
Actions
Make one attack or cast a spell. Bone Staff.Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft, one target. Hit: (1d6 + 2) bludgeoning damage. Blood Offering (1/Rest). The shaman slashes its forearm, spilling glowing crimson ichor. It loses 10 HP to empower nearby fiends: until the start of its next turn, all allied demons and corrupted creatures within 20 ft gain +1d4 damage on melee attacks.
Spellcasting
The shaman is a 3rd-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Wisdom (spell save DC 12, 1d20+4 to hit with spell attacks).It has the following spells prepared:
- Cantrips (at will) — Thaumaturgy, Sacred Flame (reskinned as blood flare), DEX Save, 1d8 Radiant
- 1st level (3 slots) — Inflict Wounds, CON Save, 2d10 Necrotic damage, Guiding Bolt, 1d20+4 , 4d6 Radiant, Burning Hands, Cone 15 ft, DEX Save, 3d6 fire
- 2nd level (2 slots) — Hold Person, Spiritual Weapon (reskinned as spectral axe of blood and smoke)
