Slender and Sophisticated

Hylians are taller than Humans, and tend to have slimmer figures. Like Humans, Hylians can have varying body types and are not contained to the slender description. Hylians have long, pointy ears, which are said to allow them to hear the voice of Hylia. Their skin can be pale to dark, and vary in undertones. Their hair ranges from blonde, to black, brown, or red. Their hair is typically styled more or less intricately as associated with social class.
The clothes that Hylians wear are variable and quality correlates with social class. High class Hylians wear silks imported from Subrosia, and they are tailored for the specific person. Upper class Hylians will occasionally wear the same high quality clothes that high class Hylians wear, but typically wear nice, mass produced clothes. Lower class Hylains tend to wear handmade, cotton clothes.

Imperial and Strict

As the direct descendents of Hylia, most Hylians believe that they have an obligation to spread her word to the rest of the world. They colonize and settle communities and attempt to teach them the ways of Hylia. While most Hylians do this in a way that they do not believe to be violent, the Kingdom of Hyrule's army have a history of conquering non-Hylian communities.
Hylians are strict on themselves and others. While some are more strict than others, most Hylians follow strict teachings of the Priestesses, especially those who follow the ways of Hylia.

Kingdoms and Villages

Hylian communities are typically organized into the occasional village of around 1,000 inhabitants, but there are some cases of villages growing into large cities. The largest city in the Kingdom of Hyrule, Castle Town, is also the largest community of Hylians on Aeveros. Castle Town is the capital of the Kingdom of Hyrule, and contains the seat of the Monarch of Hyrule, along with it's court.

Conservative Traditions

Hylian followers of Hylia enforce in their communities strict conservative values, such as dress modestly, obeying your husband, and obeying the teachings of the Priestesses. Even Hylians who do not follow Hylia tend to follow these values.
