You afflict one creature within range with lingering shadow corruption.
The target must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, it becomes corrupted for the duration. While corrupted, the target takes 1d6 Shadow damage at the start of each of its turns.
At the end of each of its turns, the target may repeat the saving throw, ending the spell on a success.
The spell ends early if the target is reduced to 0 hit points.
At higher levels: When you cast this spell, you may spend 1 Soul Shard. If you do, the spell does not require concentration.
