Description.
The Rot Blade is a twisted weapon of decay and ruin. Its black, rusted metal is veiled in a putrid, semi-liquid necrotic miasma that clings to the air around it, briefly existing before dissolving into nothing.Rotting Miasma.
When you hit a creature that isn't undead with this weapon, it takes an extra 1d4 necrotic damage as the miasma eats away at its body.Concentrated Corruption. (1/long rests)
Use your bonus action to focus the miasma along the edge of the blade, channeling its full potency.The first time you hit a creature within 1 minute with this weapon deals an additional 4d4 necrotic damage instead of the usual 1d4.
Then the target must succeed on a DC 14 Constitution saving throw, or its hit point maximum is reduced by the necrotic damage taken for 1 hour and it can't regain hit points until the start of your next turn.
This ability has no effect on undead.
