With a gesture a magician transforms into a freakish swarm of deranged and mutated beasts from the Void.   Small and medium creatures fill a 5"x5" area, large creatures 10"x10" area, huge creatures 15" x 15" and gragantuan creaturss 20" x 20" or larger.   All Void Swarms have the following:
  • Can enter, occupy and move through other creatures areas of effect
  • Have resistance to piercing, slashing and bludgeoning damage
  • Unlike normal swarms do not need to make strength check to stay "in shape" if reduced to half hit points
  • Void swarms cannot make attacks of opportunity, and any made against them are made with disadvantage
  • Can either make a Swarm Creature attack against one creature in the area of effect, or a Swarm Run where any creatures in the movement of the Swarm may be attacked
  • No spells can be cast while in Void Swarm form
The type of swarm is chosen by the magician when cast and cannot change. In the round it is cast, the magician may attack in zis Void Swarm form with all attacks made at disadvantage and damage dice reduced by one factor (e.g. d4 becomes d3).   1. Void Rattus

  • Swarm creature; attack one creature with advantage dealing PB x d6 in magical piercing damage. On a failure deal PB in magicial piercing damage
  • Swarm Run; move and attack any creatures within the movement; making one attack roll against all creatures dealing PB x d3 damage against each creature, with no minimum damage done on a failure
2. Void Chiroptera
  • AC = 8 + spell casting bonus
  • HP = remain the same
  • Fly = 40"
  • Attack = + spell casting bonus
  • Swarm creature; attack one creature with advantage dealing PB x d4 in magical piercing damage and creature must make a DC dexterity savings throw or it is slightly confused and any attack rolls made by the creaure are made with -1 until the start of the magician's next turn. On a failure deal PB in magicial piercing damage
  • Swarm Run; move and attack any creatures within the movement; making one attack roll against all creatures dealing PB x d2 damage against each creature, with no minimum damage done on a failure
3. Void Pygocentrus
  • AC = 8 + spell casting bonus
  • HP = remain the same
  • Swim = 30"
  • Attack = + spell casting bonus
  • Swarm creature; attack one creature with advantage dealing PB x d4 in magical piercing damage and creature must make a DC dexterity savings throw or is affected by the bleeding condition until the end of its next turn. On a failure deal PB in magicial piercing damage
  • Swarm Run; move and attack any creatures within the movement; making one attack roll against all creatures dealing PB x d2 damage against each creature, with no minimum damage done on a failure
Void Swarm ends if the magician uses a bonus action at the end of zis turn to end the spell, the magician fails a concentration check or the magician is reduced to 0 hit points.  
At higher levels: If cast at 6th level, all d2s become d3s, d3s become d4s, d4s become d6s and d6s become d8s
If cast at 8th level, all d2s become d4s, d3s become d6s, d4s become d8s and d6s become d10s
