The magician targets a creature and immediately fills its lungs with water if air breathing or removes water from its lungs if water breathing.
The target must make a DC constitution check.
On a success the target can act as normal, although its next savings throw increases by one.
On a failure, the target takes one level of suffocation. For each level of suffocation:
- First level of Discombobulated Condition and psychic damage = 2x PB of magician
- First Level of Shaken Condition and magical bludgeoning damage = 2x PB of magician
- Second level of Discombobulated Condition (-3 instead of -1) and psychic damage = 3x PB of magician
- Second Level of Shaken Condition (-3 instead of -1) and magical bludgeoning damage = 3x PB of magician
- Third level of Discombobulated Condition (-5 instead of -3) and psychic damage = 4x PB of magician
- Third Level of Shaken Condition (-5 instead of -3) and magical bludgeoning damage = 4x PB of magician
- Final Level = Creature reduced to zero hit points (if it isn't already) and death throws commence
A creature that doesn't need to breathe is immune to this spell.
