It also allows for telepathic communication between the wearer and the master.\r\n\r\nThe soulbound oval ruby\u2019s wearer is not compelled to obey its master\u2019s telepathic commands, but the master can use the soulbound oval ruby as a conduit for hold monster, modify memory, pain strike, or suggestion spells, treating the wearer as the target of the spell, no matter the distance between master and wearer. The victim is allowed any normal saving throws or spell resistance against spells cast through the soulbound oval ruby.\r\n\r\nThe soulbound oval ruby grants its wearer immunity to poison and all disease, including supernatural diseases- as if wearing a periapt of proof against poison, and a periapat of health. It also sustains the wearer without food, water, or air. It also grants its wearer acid resistance as if wearing a major ring of energy resistance.\r\n\r\nWhile implanted the soulbound oval ruby protects you from ability score penalties from aging and you cannot be magically aged. Any penalties you have already incurred remain in place. Bonuses still accrue, and you still die of old age when your time is up. If you lose the stone or its abilities are negated in some way, all age and penalties apply immediately.\r\n\r\nAn implanted soulbound oval ruby functions like a cursed item once it is in place\u2014it can only be removed if the curse is first lifted via an effect like remove curse or break enchantment.
