You can select this ability up to three times.\r\n\r\nSurprise Strike (Ex)\r\nAs a swift action, you can expend one use of mythic power to make a melee attack or ranged attack against a target within 30 feet, in addition to any other attacks you make this round. When you make a surprise strike, the target is considered flat-footed regardless of any class features or abilities it might have, and you add your tier to the attack roll. Damage from this attack bypasses damage reduction.\r\n\r\nTransfer Magic (Su)\r\nYour mythic nature allows you to take magic from others as easily as you could take their gold. By expending one use of mythic power as a standard action, you can make a melee touch attack to transfer an active magical effect from a target creature to you. If you succeed, the highest-level effect on the target transfers to you (determine randomly if the target has multiple effects with the same level), ending the effect for the target and continuing it on you with the remaining duration as if you were the original target. You may end the effect on yourself as a standard action; this doesn\u2019t cause it to revert to the original target. If the transferred magic can\u2019t affect you (for example, if it doesn\u2019t affect creatures of your type), it ends immediately as if dispelled. You can\u2019t use this ability to transfer continuous bonuses from magic items, such as an armor bonus from bracers of armor.\r\n\r\nUnintentional Feint (Ex)\r\nYou make near misses look like expert feints, and your efforts are rarely wasted. If you make an attack roll that misses your original target, you can expend one use of mythic power to specify a second target, which must be adjacent to you (if a melee attack) or the original target (if a ranged attack). If the second target would be hit by what you rolled, you hit that target and deal damage as normal.\r\n\r\nVanishing Move (Su)\r\nWhen you wish to not be seen, you aren\u2019t. A ranger may make Knowledge skill checks untrained when attempting to identify these creatures.\r\nAt 5th level and every five levels thereafter (10th, 15th, and 20th level), the ranger may select an additional favored enemy. In addition, at each such interval, the bonus against any one favored enemy (including the one just selected, if so desired) increases by +2.\r\n\r\nTrack (Ex)\r\nA ranger adds half his level (minimum 1) to Survival skill checks made to follow tracks.\r\n\r\nWild Empathy (Ex)\r\nA ranger can improve the initial attitude of an animal. This ability functions just like a Diplomacy check to improve the attitude of a person (see Using Skills). The ranger rolls 1d20 and adds his ranger level and his Charisma bonus to determine the wild empathy check result. The typical domestic animal has a starting attitude of indifferent, while wild animals are usually unfriendly.\r\nTo use wild empathy, the ranger and the animal must be within 30 feet of one another under normal visibility conditions. Generally, influencing an animal in this way takes 1 minute, but, as with influencing people, it might take more or less time.\r\nThe ranger can also use this ability to influence a magical beast with an Intelligence score of 1 or 2, but he takes a \u20134 penalty on the check.\r\n\r\nEndurance\r\nBenefit: You gain a +4 bonus on the following checks and saves: Swim checks made to resist nonlethal damage from exhaustion; Constitution checks made to continue running; Constitution checks made to avoid nonlethal damage from a forced march; Constitution checks made to hold your breath; Constitution checks made to avoid nonlethal damage from starvation or thirst; Fortitude saves made to avoid nonlethal damage from hot or cold environments; and Fortitude saves made to resist damage from suffocation.\r\nYou may sleep in light or medium armor without becoming fatigued.\r\n\r\nFavored Terrain (Ex)\r\n[u]1st: (Forest)[\/u]\r\n[u]2nd: Mountain (including hills)[\/u]\r\nAt 3rd level, a ranger may select a type of terrain from Table: Ranger Favored Terrains. The ranger gains a +2 bonus on initiative checks and Knowledge (geography), Perception, Stealth, and Survival skill checks when he is in this terrain. A ranger traveling through his favored terrain normally leaves no trail and cannot be tracked (though he may leave a trail if he so chooses).\r\nAt 8th level and every five levels thereafter, the ranger may select an additional favored terrain. In addition, at each such interval, the skill bonus and initiative bonus in any one favored terrain (including the one just selected, if so desired), increases by +2.\r\n\r\nSneak Attack\r\nIf a rogue can catch an opponent when he is unable to defend himself effectively from her attack, she can strike a vital spot for extra damage.\r\nThe rogue\u2019s attack deals extra damage anytime her target would be denied a Dexterity bonus to AC (whether the target actually has a Dexterity bonus or not), or when the rogue flanks her target. This extra damage is 1d6 at 1st level, and increases by 1d6 every two rogue levels thereafter. Should the rogue score a critical hit with a sneak attack, this extra damage is not multiplied. Ranged attacks can count as sneak attacks only if the target is within 30 feet.\r\n\r\nTrapfinding\r\nA rogue adds 1\/2 her level to Perception skill checks made to locate traps and to Disable Device skill checks (minimum +1). A rogue can use Disable Device to disarm magic traps.\r\n\r\nEvasion (Ex)\r\nAt 2nd level and higher, a rogue can avoid even magical and unusual attacks with great agility. If she makes a successful Reflex saving throw against an attack that normally deals half damage on a successful save, she instead takes no damage. Evasion can be used only if the rogue is wearing light armor or no armor. A helpless rogue does not gain the benefit of evasion.\r\n\r\nRogue Talents\r\n(Rogues Finess)\r\nAs a rogue gains experience, she learns a number of talents that aid her and confound her foes. Starting at 2nd level, a rogue gains one rogue talent. She gains an additional rogue talent for every 2 levels of rogue attained after 2nd level. A rogue cannot select an individual talent more than once.\r\n\r\nWoodland Stride (Ex)\r\nStarting at 7th level, a ranger may move through any sort of undergrowth (such as natural thorns, briars, overgrown areas, and similar terrain) at his normal speed and without taking damage or suffering any other impairment.\r\nThorns, briars, and overgrown areas that are enchanted or magically manipulated to impede motion, however, still affect him.\r\n\r\nSwift Tracker (Ex)\r\nBeginning at 8th level, a ranger can move at his normal speed while using Survival to follow tracks without taking the normal \u20135 penalty.
