Community Suggestion: Quick Article Summary List
What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
It is difficult to see what you have created and what each item is. There is no complete list of articles for my world, and even if there is one I don't know who each of the NPCs are until I look at the article. This is especially difficult when I don't have a computer in front of me. I don't want to print off my whole world, I just want a quick table of contents. It would be awesome to have a table or list that just has every article in a world and then the excerpt data from the design tab.How does this feature request address the current situation?
This would allow for quick reference of what exists in a world and make looking up characters or remembering what a shopkeeps name is much quicker when at the table.What are other uses for this feature request?
This would also be handy just to see if there are any gaps in the world. The content tree is similar to this idea but just having the quick description shown so I can print it would be awesome.The Team's Response
Thanks for the suggestion! An upcoming update to the article manage will introduce the ability to see all of your articles on the same page. Regarding making it print-friendly, we're closing this for lack of interest from the community; we think the idea has merit, but World Anvil is online-first and we currently don't have space in our pipeline for a project like this unless there's significantly more interest in the community.
