Community Suggestion: Post It Notes On Manuscripts
A post it note to leave on my manuscript where I can make note of what I am doing next in that section, either before signing off writing for the day or to come back to after editing another section.
It could work as a bookmark, a page tab, or just a pop up notepad left where I need it. Then when I've used it and completed it, I just hit delete and don't have to worry about deleting content or searching back for it later on if I lose track of the note I put in my manuscript.
Another use for these post it notes would be to mark important foreshadowings that I want to make sure get fulfilled later on. Todos can mark these a little, but they're not marking the spot with the info I will need later.

Thanks for the suggestion! Manuscripts already has a Notes field in each scene, and for the next iteration of Manuscripts we'll look into improving this feature. For now, this is closed.

on 2025-10-02 01:35While you can add "notes" to a folder or scene in manuscripts, being able to use post-its notes, to-dos or comments to leave reminders of what you were going to add in at various sections. It can also leave the section "highlighted" as a placeholder of sorts. This can be a great editing tool as well!
