What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
Whenever i mean to search a word in my dictionary in the article view mode, i need to enter at least three letters for the dictionary to search for matchs. If a word however has less then three letters, the dictionary wont show it. Also it is not possible to just view the whole dictionary (in view article mode) if one is not absolutely certain about the correct spelling anymore.
I would therefore make the two following suggestions:
have the dictionary search for matches already after entering the first letter
create a "view whole dictionary" button that shows all words contained in dictionary.
How does this feature request address the current situation?
It would subscribers allow to find words with less than three letters. And for authors it would make things easier as one wouldn't have to switch between view and edit mode all the time.
What are other uses for this feature request?
Besides looking up specific words, one could just browse the whole dictionary, thus discovering the language in another way.
The Team's Response
I am sorry but this will not be possible. Searching on the first letter will mean potentially loading thousands of words at once.
