Move the prounouns for a character from beside their honorific/title to the side bar with the rest of their personal info.

Currently the current system adds the pronouns at the top of the article, next to their honorific.   For example, my current world would have someone by the title "Captain of the Gail Wrath, Scourge of the Golden Sea (They/Them)"   I absolutely love that world anvil has pronouns, for reasons both for representation and identity, but even reasons such as custom pronouns for fictional species as some species can be monogender, fall outside the male/female binary, or have more two binary genders.   I just think it would look much better if the pronouns were added to the sidebar along with other personal info like weight/height/age etc. It just looks out of place to me since it appears to be the only personal info that automatically goes outside of the sidebar.

Follow up

To clear up as apparently there was a misconception, the current system adds pronouns to the honorific at the top of the page, such as “Jon Snow....the king of the North....he/him”   My suggestion would remove them from the top of the page and move them to the side bar with the rest of the personal info

If you choose to have the pronouns on side bar you can manually place them there. I feel this would be more work for the developers that is unneccessary

This would be a great change. Moving it to a section more related to their identity rather than just tacking it onto the already busy top section of the article would be great, imo.

I like it by the name. You can use the sections to do this already.

To me, disclosing a character's pronouns in a way that cannot easily be ignored is important. I don't nessecarily view someone's pronouns as purely personal information. It's about how you want people to address you. In a way, it becomes as important as someone's title. Also, as someone else already pointed out, since the pronouns are put in brackets, it's obvious that they aren't actually part of the title.

don't use the standard 'pronoun' prompt. create your own sidebar via the 'Sections' tab of the character template

My main reason for disliking this would mean having to go through 100s of character articles oF mine to FIX the pronouns as I keep the sidebar panel hidden, and it would be hours upon hours of fixing and making sure every last article is fixed. The onther reason is that with the (), it is pretty much obvious that they are pronouns and not actually part of the title.

Scalenex I think you misunderstood the text, the she/her in the name is how it works right now, so you basically just said you agree with the suggestion ^^

I think would come across as pushy and unnatural to put in a title like this because no one talks like that tacking on pronouns to the end of addressing someone.   You stand before Daenerys Stormborn of the House Targaryen,First of Her Name, the Unburnt, Queen of the Andals and the First Men, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea,Breaker of Chains, and Mother of Dragons....she/her   This is Jon Snow....the king of the North....he/him.   It feels like virtue signaling to try to make pronouns more pronounced.
