What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?

To really enbed functions into articles I have to upload an image. This way there are major layout difficulties and it fills up the images folder with junk images.  

How does this feature request address the current situation?

It implements it.  

What are other uses for this feature request?

If it is possible to include a LateX like environment, many other advantages arise from it for more complex and sophisticated articles. This might include the TikZ package, a very high variety of fonts and special characters as well as advanced formatting techniques like using matrices or fractures artistically. If it is not possible to include LateX directly, the alternative might also provide additional functions.  

Problems

This might be too dificult to do and adresses only a niche section of writers. It would also make the learning curve for world anvil steeper or it just won't be used by those users at all. Especially if LateX environments cannot be implemented as such and the alternative doesn't provide any additional uses. Nonetheless, if it is easily achievable I don't see why it shouldn't be added. (First suggestion, I hope I didn't do anything too wrong :D)
