The ability to drag and drop events in the chronicles.

What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?

I feel like the current way of editing dates for events is kinda clunky if you're only putting tentative dates. For example, if one wishes to change a date, one has to go through a handful of clicks to do it. And this is very bothersome as timelines begin to get complicated. Such as an event having a bunch of related events that one has to move in the same manner.

How does this feature request address the current situation?

I feel like being able to simply drag an event around the timeline would make it so much easier to edit a Chronicle.

Follow up

To add to what iamthetot said, lol. I don't really see it as much of a hurdle since you can already zoom in on a chronice. For example, if you zoom in down to the minutes and try to create an event, said event would already have a default date with the exact minute that you clicked in. So for more accuarate dragging you would only need to zoom in.

The Team's Response

This was tested and it cannot be implemented with accuracy - that means that implementing it will cause more issues that could potentially fix.

I think that yes this sounds like a very intuitive improvement, but I don't think it would pan out very well in actuality. Because of the granularity of chronicles, right down to the second, I don't think any drag-and-drop solution would ever be satisfactory, and you'd still end up editing an event to get it exact. I agree though that it would seem intuitive, and your first instinct when editing a chronicle is to try dragging an event.
