articles challanges tracking comment like

What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?

I would like there to be a section, where I can look up articles I liked / commented on.

How does this feature request address the current situation?

The profilepage is only tracking the last 10-ish liked articles.

What are other uses for this feature request?

For one each user could get a good overview of what they liked, read, commented on. This way they could follow up on stuff. Also while doing summercamp or Ember I like to read while it is still happening and cand remeber what I read once the readingchallange is upon us.   Also I think to myself sometimes ... where was this awesome thing you read? And can't find it again.       Of course I have no Idea how hard this one would be to implement ~ But I happend to miss this feature quite a few times in the past and didnt find any suggestion open in that direction so ....   TLDR: List to track articles I (read), liked, commented on.

Follow up

Clearification: Tracking the read articles is only an optional after-thought. It would be highly demanding on the system (I guess) and all in all not that useful. That bein said something like the "last 5 articles you read" thing popped into my mind. Although the mentioned "bookmark" option would serve the same purpose while being less "hungry".   The thought of "tracking every like" initially crossed my mind because they are tracked somehow anyway. Of course if you have a lot of likes you might have to pre sort them by world? Or only track the worlds and once I visit that world I could go "Articles I liked in that world." The latter sounds like the better way to go with this. But I am not a web dev so what do I know :D   Thanks for the feedback everyone.

The Team's Response

Thanks for your suggestion! Unfortunately, it didn't get enough community support for the database load this would require. As a workaround, you can add them to the Reading List for future reference! You can access the Reading List from the dropdown under your profile picture at the top right.

Yes, that sounds very useful. I'm working around this with a dedicated "Library" world that only exists to list other articles, but maintaining those lists manually takes time.

Tracking every like seems a bit much, but with the reading list meant to be a temporary thing, a more permanent bookmark option would be nice. Especially since sometimes worlds, users, or articles change name and actual browser-bookmarks break as a result.

I would also like to know what I've liked and commented on!

The only current work around is the reading list, but I'd prefer to keep the reading list as a to read pile rather than a 'please I don't want to lose this because likes disappear' space.

I would really appreciate this! In the past I've had to go through my history or keep track of it manually, which was a bit of a headache.

I'd love this too! On most social media sites and apps, you are able to at least go back and see all the articles you've ever liked in the history of your account. I don't know about the commenting part. That may be a little more of a challenge. Unsure how challenging even the likes part would be to implement, but I am definitely in favor if it is possible! Thanks so much for suggesting this <3 God bless!
