Description
Pyromancers of great skill come to truly surprise, as they learn to manipulate the manna at their disposal, shape and manifest it in forms rapidly, to use the by products as a weapon. Such is the case here, with this particular spell form. The aftermath of a volcanic eruption, brought to life in the realm of the Aether, never touching the Material Plane. Only the dangers of the toxic ash clouds cross over, infused with the magister's sheer will.

Spell-Weave DCs: 19, Tier II: 24, Tier III: 29

Weaving the flowing veins of Doitean you can gather in the Aether, moving, swirling and clashing them faster and faster, you create and control all the energy of a volcanic eruption, keeping it safely in the Aether, to avoid any manna cascade. But as the reaction ends, you swiftly force the by product, which would otherwise be consumed by Lobhadh and renewed eventually, out into the Material Realm, and it manifests as a toxic and burning hot cloud of gases and ash. The ash cloud lasts for the duration or until a strong wind disappates it. It is very obstructive, basically impossible to see through, counting as 3/4 cover. Creatures within it cannot see out of it properly at all, and everything is obscured. They should not be aware, via visual means, of their orientation or what shadowy figures outside of it are friend or foe.

Furthermore, the area occupied by the ash cloud counts as difficult terrain, and any creature that starts its turn within the cloud must make a Fortitude Save. Failure results in taking 2d8 fire damage and 2d8 poison damage, and gaining both the Blind (1) and Toxic (1) conditions until one round after escaping the ash. On a critical failure, those conditions become quasi permanent, needing a DC 15 Medicine check to remove, each, as well as taking double damage. On a successful save, creatures take half damage and still suffer Toxic (1) until one round after escaping the ash cloud. On a critical success, they only suffer Toxic (1), no damage or other conditions, until 1 round after they escape the ash cloud. Creatures are affected even if they are holding their breath or don't need to breath.

The ash cloud moves 10 feet in a random direction each round, as if being carried by the wind, much like the aftermath of an actual volcanic eruption.

Tier -1: Fail to cast, roll a Minor Miscast
Tier 0: Fail to cast
Tier II: Damage becomes 4d8 fire damage and 4d8 poison damage.
Tier III: Inflicted Conditions become Blind (2) and Toxic (2), and radius increases by 10 feet.
