Description | One of the finest defensive spell-forms of any of the Orders of magick, a reactive weaving that truly is masterful. Spell-Weave DCs: 14, Tier II: 19, Tier III: 24 Manipulating the forces of Uisce, following the paths you can identify to do so quickly and efficiently, you respond swiftly to an attempt to strike you, a sheet of calm water, almost as if a mirror, coming into existence in front of you. You must choose an alternative target whom would be in range and a valid target of the spell or the attack against you. That creature must attempt an Ego Save. Should they succeed, you still are victimized by the attack or spell, but reduce all damage and negative effects from it by half where possible (where numeric values are present). Should they fail, instead of you, your chosen target suffers half the damage negative effects where halving is possible from the attack or spell (so where numeric values are present). Should they critically fail, the full brunt of the effects are suffered by your target and should they critically succeed, you suffer the full effects as you normally would have. Until the start of your next turn after utilizing this spell-form, you gain +1 AC Tier -1: Fail to cast, roll Minor Miscast Tier 0: Fail to cast Tier II: The AC boost becomes +3 Tier III: The AC boost becomes +5 |
