Description | This symbol, universally recognized for its size and strength, is merely a connected and repeating capital 'V' that extends as far as one means for the wall of energy they will be calling forth to extend, placed within the Aether at the appropriate corresponding location you wish the manna to surge forth into the Material Realm. Forming this linguistic symbol is a practiced effort of symmetry, precision and pattern repetition. Spell-Stitch/Spell-Weave DC: 17 Weaving the manna through yourself and the Aether, you focus all your will on forcing and exerting a sheer curtain or wall of manna to manifest in the target area on the Materium. This volatile energy manifests to a maximum height of 50 feet, or goes from floor to ceiling in spaces of less height. This elemental wall will manifest itself differently depending upon the Order you are of, though its basic effects are the same. It presents a 10 foot thick barrier of raw elemental force given form, something very dangerous to pass through. Any creature that attempts to pass through this barrier takes 2d6 damage per 5 feet moved of the appropriate elemental damage based on your Order. How this wall manifests is tied to the Order you are from, so the manna you utilize, but is unique to each Magister as well. Topaz for example, may seem a mostly solid stone or earthen wall, but the crevasses and tunnels through it roar with the thunderous cacophony of a landslide, assaulting any whom would dare enter it. Amethyst meanwhile, could seem a rippling violet mist within which all living things begin to rapidly decay. Tier -1: Spell fails, Minor Miscast Tier 0: Spell will only last 1 round, Tier 1 Tier II: Can be up to 60 feet in length, and 15 feet thick. Spell-Stitch/Spell-Weave DC becomes 22 to flat cast. Tier III: Can be up to 90 feet in length, and damage becomes 3d6 per 5 feet moved. Spell-Stitch/Spell-Weave DC becomes 27 to flat cast. Shamans or their ilk, as always, 1d8 if they use this spell, and it is the corresponding element; Fire, Necrotic, Lightning, Radiant, Thunder, Poison, Cold, Psychic. |
