Description | Unique Rule: Unlike other Maintained spellforms, should you lose control of this one by failing your Fortitude Save the spell does not simply merely fade. Instead you lose control of the elemental being you summoned, it gains back its free will, and can no longer return home by normal means of dismissal or the term of the spell reaching its maximum. As it is no longer attached to the spell. If you critically fail, you roll 1 Minor Miscast for every 2 hours that were left on the maximum duration (minimum 1) and the creature is dismissed. Unique Rule: You may only have one instance of such a Spell-form active, even if you somehow could maintain one and cast it a second time. It requires too much control to upkeep two uses of such a spell-form for one Magister. This symbol is but a careful set of lines, a mirrored line version of your own physical shape, placed in position within the Aether where you wish this aide to manifest itself, to be pulled forth from the Aether. You must carefully center a thick vertical line of energy matching in corresponding height from your head to where your legs split off from your torso. Two smaller lines, about 3/4 as thick, flowing down in harmony at the same angle and length as your legs. Two more exiting in a proper location from the upper part of the Torso line to represent your arms, each of these only 1/2 as thick as the torso line, and extending outwards at a slightly downward angle for an appropriate distance. These lines must correspond perfectly with your own dimensions elsewise the spell-form may not work, or worse, call forth an elemental entity that did not accept your barter, and is entirely free of purpose and agreement, an entity of raw primordial energy simply free to do as it wishes, unbalanced. Spell-Stitch/Spell-Weave DC: 16 Calling through the Aether, weaving the forces of your manna to send that call through the flows tied to your order, you bargain with the primordial forces, tapping into the very plane of existence associated with your elemental magick, and barter for aid. You summon a being of elemental power to your aid, an Iriska of the appropriate elemental affinity. Alternatively you can summon 1d2+1 Vilows of the appropriate elemental affinity. They serve you, and are under your control. Tier -1: Spell fails, Roll a Major Miscast Tier 0: Spell fails, Roll a Minor Miscast Tier II: You may now summon an Undara of the appropriate elemental affinity, or alternatively a pair of Iriskas, or 1d4+2 Vilows. Spell-Stitch/Spell-Weave DC is 21 to flat cast. Tier III: You may now summon a Thymaris of the appropriate elemental affinity. Alternatively you may summon a pair of Undara, or 1d4+1 Iriskas, or 1d6+2 Vilows. Spell-Stitch/Spell-Weave DC is 26 to flat cast. |
