Favored Foe

When you hit a creature with an attack roll, you can call on your mystical bond with nature to mark the target as your favored enemy for 1 minute or until you lose your concentration (as if you were concentrating on a spell).
The first time on each of your turns that you hit the favored enemy and deal damage to it, including when you mark it, you increase that damage by 1d4.

You can use this feature to mark a favored enemy a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

This feature's extra damage increases when you reach certain levels in this class: to 1d6 at 6th level and to 1d8 at 14th level.

Deft Explorer
Proficiency Bonus doubled for Perception.
You can also speak, read, and write 2 additional languages of your choice.

Great Weapon Master
On your turn, when you score a critical hit with a melee weapon or reduce a creature to 0 hit points with one, you can make one melee weapon attack as a bonus action.

Before you make a melee attack with a heavy weapon that you are proficient with, you can choose to take a -5 penalty to the attack roll. If the attack hits, you add +10 to the attack's damage.

Blind Fighting. You have blind sight with a range of 10 feet. Within that range, you can effectively see anything that isn't behind total cover, even if you're blinded or in darkness. Moreover, you can see an invisible creature within that range, unless the creature successfully hides from you.

Languages & Proficiencies
Edgar is a blunt man, honest to a fault. He tends to speak his mind, he has made many enemies with a careless word. He is also humble, he takes insults in stride and tends to laugh it off.

Edgar, while not exactly disliking authority, is willing to defy it in pursuit of his goals.

Personality Traits
Edgar was born to a poor farming family in an unremarkable village, and spent his entire early life farming, building and poaching. His village had a 'village hero' of sorts, a retired adventurer who protected the village from brigands and monsters. As Edgar grew older this adventurer taught him a thing or two about fighting, and the two grew very close. When Edgar was 23 however, his village was attacked by monsters too numerous and too powerful for the adventurer, and he fell and the village was massacred. Edgar returned from a hunting trip to find his life in ashes, finding the adventurers body he took his sword and pledged to ensure that monsters would trouble this world no longer.
